New Rail Link Proposed to Connect Suphan Buri and Ban Phachi

Deputy Prime Minister Phiphat Ratchakitprakarn and Minister of Social Development and Human Security Varawut Silpa-archa recently visited Suphan Buri to address local transportation challenges. According to a report by Prachachat Business, the officials are advocating for a new 'Missing Link' railway project connecting Suphan Buri to Ban Phachi.

The initiative aims to enhance economic connectivity between Thailand’s Northern, Northeastern, and Southern regions. During the visit, the officials engaged with local government representatives and residents to discuss broader infrastructure improvements, including the mitigation of high-risk road areas and the resolution of issues at railway crossings.
