Deputy PM Yotchanan Inspects Flood Recovery Efforts in Nan Province
Deputy Prime Minister Yotchanan Wongsawat visited Pua District, Nan, to assess flood damage and coordinate recovery efforts, while proposing an increase in emergency funding.

According to Khaosod Online, the official surveyed homes heavily impacted by mudslides and floodwaters, noting that several residences suffered severe structural damage, with some residents forced to relocate to upper floors.
During the visit, Yotchanan praised local heroes, including a teacher named Paweena and local rangers, for their life-saving efforts during the disaster. He also engaged with elderly residents, acknowledging the challenges of delivering aid to remote areas. To support the ongoing recovery, the Deputy Prime Minister announced plans to request an expansion of the emergency budget to 100 million baht.
