Yuenyong Opakul, widely known as Add Carabao, the legendary leader of the band Carabao, recently shared his experience utilizing Thailand’s 'Gold Card' universal healthcare scheme. According to a report by Khaosod Online, the musician sought medical attention at Chiangrai Prachanukroh Hospital after suffering from a severe cough for nine days.
Add Carabao admitted that he had initially attempted to treat himself by purchasing medication without professional guidance, which proved ineffective. Upon visiting the hospital, he underwent a lung X-ray, which confirmed that his condition was not serious. He noted that his symptoms improved significantly after receiving proper medical care and prescribed medication.
