According to Khaosod Online Thailand, 44 Thai nationals—comprising 27 men, 16 women, and one boy—were received after being released from Cambodian custody following a royal pardon. Upon arrival, authorities screened the returnees and identified five individuals with a total of 11 outstanding arrest warrants. These individuals were immediately taken into police custody for further legal proceedings.
Simultaneously, Thai officials repatriated 35 Cambodian nationals who had entered Thailand illegally in search of employment. The operation was managed by the Burapha Force in coordination with Sa Kaeo immigration officers, who opened the checkpoint temporarily to ensure the process was conducted securely.
