BAM Reports Financial Recovery in First Half of 2026

Bangkok Commercial Asset Management (BAM) reports a strong first half of 2026, with total collections reaching 6.5 billion baht and a profit of 451 million baht.

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Bangkok Commercial Asset Management (BAM) has announced positive financial results for the first half of 2026. The company recorded total collections of 6.539 billion baht, supported by a 16% growth in the second quarter, which reached 3,513 million baht compared to the 3,026 million baht collected in the first quarter. The company’s profit for the second quarter stood at 234 million baht, an 8% increase, bringing the total profit for the first half of the year to 451 million baht.

BAM CEO Rak Vorrakitpokatorn stated that the company is focusing on a 'Resilient Business Model' for the remainder of the year. This strategy utilizes Non-Performing Loans (NPL), Non-Performing Assets (NPA), and Joint Venture Asset Management Companies (JV AMC) to maintain consistent cash flow.

For residents and those monitoring Thailand’s economic landscape, these figures suggest a stabilization in the asset management sector, which often reflects broader trends in the property and debt markets. While these results indicate a recovery, the long-term impact of this business model on the broader real estate market remains to be confirmed. Investors and observers should continue to monitor BAM’s performance in the second half of the year to see if this growth trajectory is sustained.
