The Poh Teck Tung Foundation has initiated its 2026 'Thing Krajad' tradition, distributing 3,000 relief kits to underprivileged residents across six Bangkok districts.
On August 21, 2026, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation held a significant charitable event as part of its annual 'Thing Krajad' tradition. According to Khaosod Online, this year’s ceremony marked a historic milestone, taking place at the Tai Hong Kong Yok Khao Shrine, a site with over 120 years of history. Foundation leadership, including Vice Chairman Wichit Chinwongworakul and Secretary-General Sirikul Opaswong, oversaw the dispatch of a caravan carrying 3,000 relief kits.
Each kit contains essential supplies, including rice, instant noodles, canned fish, fish sauce, vegetable oil, snacks, and donated clothing. These supplies are being distributed to individuals in need across six specific districts in Bangkok: Sathon, Taling Chan, Thawi Watthana, and Nong Chok, among others.
