Police are investigating the fatal shooting of a Pak Chong subdistrict deputy mayor and her husband in their Phetchabun home.
On the morning of August 21, 2026, authorities in the Lom Sak district of Phetchabun province discovered the bodies of a deputy mayor of a subdistrict administrative organization and her husband. According to Khaosod English, the couple was found in their bedroom with fatal gunshot wounds. Pol. Lt. Rathana Phithak Deesaeng of the Ban Klang police station reported that the discovery was made around 02:00.
