Two Fatal Motorcycle Accidents Reported on Highway 331 in Chonburi

On the night of August 20, 2026, two separate fatal accidents involving motorcycles and 18-wheel trailers occurred on Highway 331 in the Bang Lamung district of Chonburi, according to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand.

The first incident took place near the Khao Mai Kaeo interchange. A female caddy riding a motorcycle with red temporary license plates collided with the rear of an 18-wheeler that had stopped on the roadside due to a tire blowout. The driver of the truck, identified as 39-year-old Mr. Korakot, remained at the scene to provide a statement to the Huay Yai police.

Shortly thereafter, a second fatal collision was reported approximately three kilometers away. In this instance, a male motorcyclist struck an 18-wheeler that was performing a U-turn. The rider was unable to brake in time, resulting in a fatal impact.
