A motorcyclist in Phuket narrowly escaped injury after jumping from his vehicle when the throttle became stuck, causing the bike to crash into the sea.

The rider reportedly realized his motorcycle’s throttle was stuck shortly after refueling. Unable to control the vehicle's speed, he navigated through the Chalong Five-Way intersection while shouting warnings to pedestrians and police to clear the path. Upon reaching the pier, the rider made the split-second decision to jump from the moving motorcycle to save himself. The bike continued forward and fell into the water, while the rider sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to Chalong Hospital for treatment.
