Scoot Expands China Network with New Guiyang Route
Budget airline Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, is launching a new direct flight service to Guiyang, China, starting October 26, 2026.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Scoot has announced the expansion of its flight network in China with the addition of a new route to Guiyang. Starting October 26, 2026, the airline will operate three flights per week to the capital of Guizhou province using Airbus A320neo aircraft.
For travelers, this new connection offers access to a region known for its cool climate, mountainous landscapes, and cultural landmarks, such as the well-preserved Qingyan Ancient Town and the Huangguoshu Waterfall, one of Asia's largest. One-way economy fares to Guiyang start at 5,800 THB, inclusive of taxes. Tickets are currently available for booking via the Scoot website and mobile application.
This expansion brings Scoot’s total service to China to 81 flights per week across 16 cities, strengthening the airline's regional connectivity ahead of the year-end holiday season. While the airline has confirmed the schedule and pricing for the Guiyang route, travelers should note that the availability of tickets through third-party booking channels will be rolled out gradually.
