Fatal Shooting Incident Reported in Chumphon Province
A 35-year-old woman was killed and two others injured in a shooting at a residence in Lang Suan, Chumphon, on August 19.
According to a report by Khaosod Online, local police in Lang Suan, Chumphon, responded to a violent incident at a private residence on August 19, 2026. Three individuals were transported to Lang Suan Hospital by rescue teams and relatives prior to police arrival. A 35-year-old woman, identified as Ms. Jan, sustained a gunshot wound to the head and subsequently passed away. Two other victims, a 45-year-old man from Si Sa Ket and another man identified as Mr. Chai, sustained injuries, including a graze wound to the head.
Police apprehended the suspect shortly after the incident. The individual reportedly confessed to the act, citing a grudge fueled by intoxication as the motive for the attack.
