Muang Thai Life Assurance has integrated its iClaim system with 400 public hospitals, allowing policyholders to receive medical treatment without upfront out-of-pocket payments.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand on August 20, 2026, Muang Thai Life Assurance has upgraded its health insurance claim services by expanding its 'iClaim' system to 400 participating public hospitals across the country. This initiative allows policyholders to access both inpatient (IPD) and outpatient (OPD) medical services without the need to pay cash upfront, provided the treatment falls within their policy coverage limits.
Sara Lamsam, CEO of Muang Thai Life Assurance, stated that the move is part of the company’s 'Longevity Economy' strategy, aimed at reducing financial burdens and streamlining the healthcare access process for customers during times of illness. By removing the requirement for advance payments, the company intends to ensure that patients can receive timely and appropriate medical care without the stress of managing large out-of-pocket expenses.
For residents and long-term visitors in Thailand, this development may simplify the process of seeking medical attention at public facilities, which are often more accessible in various regions.
