SME D Bank has introduced urgent financial relief measures for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Nan province following severe flooding.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand on August 20, 2026, the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME D Bank) has implemented emergency support measures for businesses impacted by the recent floods in Nan province. Managing Director Pichit Mitrawong stated that the bank is offering a debt repayment holiday for both principal and interest for up to 12 months for eligible Term Loan clients. Additionally, the bank is providing emergency capital injections to assist businesses in repairing damages and restoring operations as quickly as possible.
