A 30-year-old man died after a small backhoe slipped from a transport truck during heavy rain in Chonburi.
On August 19, 2026, a fatal accident occurred at the Sri Phalo Physical Education College stadium in Nong Mai Daeng, Chonburi, according to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand. A 30-year-old man, identified as Mr. Kraisorn, lost his life when a small backhoe he was operating slipped from the back of a six-wheeled transport truck and crushed him.
According to a colleague and the truck driver, Mr. Charan, the incident took place during a period of heavy rainfall. The wet conditions caused the backhoe’s tracks to lose traction on the truck bed, leading the vehicle to slide off the transport. Emergency responders from the Trai Khun Tham rescue unit arrived at the scene near an old Bodhi tree to recover the victim, who had sustained fatal head injuries.
