Property Perfect and Grand Asset Announce Major Asset Divestment
Property developers Property Perfect and Grand Asset have announced plans to sell 11 prime real estate assets valued at over 12.145 billion baht to improve liquidity.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, the real estate developers Property Perfect and Grand Asset have initiated an aggressive portfolio restructuring strategy. The companies have officially announced the sale of 11 prime land and property assets, with a combined valuation exceeding 12.145 billion baht.
Mr. Sanit Adhyanasakul, Chief Executive Officer, stated that the primary objective of this divestment is to enhance corporate liquidity. The proceeds from these sales are earmarked to facilitate the full repayment of outstanding debentures and to settle existing bank debts.
For residents and those monitoring the Thai property market, this move signals a significant shift in the companies' operational focus as they prioritize debt management and financial stability over land banking. While this restructuring aims to stabilize the firms' financial positions, it may lead to changes in the development landscape of the specific prime locations involved in the sale.
At this stage, the specific identities of the 11 properties and the timeline for the completion of these transactions remain to be confirmed. Observers will be watching to see how these divestments impact the companies' future project pipelines and whether this strategy successfully addresses their current debt obligations.
