Thai actor and television host Ray MacDonald has died at his home in Bangkok; authorities are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death.
According to reports from Khaosod Online, Thai actor and television host Ray MacDonald has passed away. Police Colonel Tossapol Ampaipipatkul, Superintendent of Prawet Police Station, confirmed that the artist was found deceased on a sofa at his residence in Soi Phatthanakan 61. His wife reported the incident at 06:40 on August 19, 2026. CCTV footage from the home indicates that MacDonald lost consciousness and collapsed at approximately 00:12 that morning.
While family members stated that MacDonald had no known underlying health conditions, the official cause of death remains to be confirmed pending a detailed autopsy.
Beyond his prominent career in the entertainment industry, MacDonald was remembered for his athletic background. Anurak “Coach June” Srikerd, a former Thai national team midfielder, noted that MacDonald was a talented youth footballer who played for the Thamrong Thai club alongside other notable figures. Coach June remarked that had MacDonald not pursued a career in entertainment, his skills were of a caliber that could have potentially led to a position on the Thai national youth team.
