Dhipaya Life Assurance has announced a 194% surge in net profit for the first half of 2026, driven by a 23% increase in total insurance premiums.
According to a report by Prachachat Business, Dhipaya Life Assurance has released its financial performance results for the first half of 2026. The company recorded total insurance premiums of 4.247 billion baht, representing a 23% growth compared to the previous period. New insurance premiums saw a notable increase of 36.5%, reaching 3.391 billion baht.
These figures contributed to a net profit of 504 million baht, a 194% increase. The company also maintained a strong capital adequacy ratio (CAR) of 313%. Dhipaya Life Assurance attributes this performance to its “Grow together with AI” strategy, which aims to integrate technological advancements into its business operations.
For residents and expatriates in Thailand, this report highlights the current stability and growth of the local insurance sector. A robust insurance market often indicates a healthy financial environment, which can be a positive indicator for those managing long-term financial planning or health coverage within the country.
While these figures demonstrate strong financial health, it remains to be confirmed how the company’s AI-driven strategy will specifically impact customer service experiences or product offerings in the coming months. Investors and policyholders should continue to monitor official company disclosures for further updates on how these technological investments translate into tangible benefits for consumers.
