Fire Destroys Homes in Din Daeng Community
A fire broke out in a wooden housing community in Soi Ratchadaphisek 7, destroying several homes with no reported casualties.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a fire erupted in a wooden residential community located in Soi Ratchadaphisek 7, Din Daeng district, Bangkok, early on the morning of August 19, 2026. Emergency services, including the Huai Khwang fire station and Ruamkatanyu Foundation volunteers, were alerted to the blaze at approximately 1:53 a.m.
Upon arrival, responders encountered intense flames spreading through two-story wooden houses built in close proximity. The narrow access roads in the area presented significant challenges for fire trucks, forcing personnel to manually transport equipment to the site. Firefighters managed to contain and extinguish the blaze within 30 minutes. Preliminary assessments indicate that four to five homes were destroyed by the fire. Fortunately, there were no injuries or fatalities reported among the residents.
