On August 12, 2026, at approximately 1:26 AM, a street food stall in the Bua Thong Village area of Nonthaburi province was targeted by thieves. According to Khaosod Online, the owners, Mr. Thanun and Ms. Suthinee, reported that two individuals—a male and a female teenager—arrived on a motorcycle and stole marinated pork, fresh shrimp, and meatballs from their shop, 'Hia Kai Rat Na.'
The shop owners estimated the total value of the stolen goods at 3,000 THB. The incident was documented by the shop's CCTV system, which captured the suspects in the act. The owners expressed frustration regarding the theft, noting the current economic challenges faced by small business operators.
