According to Khaosod Online, the arrest followed a pursuit on Highway 359, a route frequently monitored by police due to its history as a corridor for illegal border crossings. The suspect attempted to evade officers before losing control of his white Isuzu pickup truck in a village in Wang Tha Chang, Kabin Buri district.
Inside the vehicle, police discovered nine individuals—eight from Bangladesh and one from Myanmar—who had entered the country illegally. The suspect reportedly confessed to authorities that he engaged in the smuggling operation to generate funds for his boxing camp.
