A village leader was hospitalized following a severe single-vehicle accident on Highway 224 in Nakhon Ratchasima province.

According to a report by Khaosod Online, a village headman from Map Tako was driving a black Isuzu D-Max pickup truck when the vehicle veered off a long curve near the 63-64 kilometer marker. The truck collided with a high-voltage utility pole, causing the vehicle to overturn and split into two sections.
Emergency responders from the Hook 31 rescue unit were dispatched to the scene, where they utilized hydraulic rescue tools to extract the driver, who was trapped inside the wreckage. The victim sustained severe injuries and was transported for medical treatment.
