SAM Launches 'SAM+' App to Streamline Debt Resolution
Sukhumvit Asset Management (SAM) has introduced the SAM+ mobile application, allowing customers with debts under 100,000 THB to manage repayment plans digitally.
According to Thai Post, Sukhumvit Asset Management (SAM) has officially launched its new mobile application, SAM+. The platform is designed to assist customers participating in the “Fast Debt Settlement, Move Forward” program, specifically targeting those with non-performing debts not exceeding 100,000 THB.
The application aims to provide an end-to-end digital solution for debt management. Users can verify their eligibility, register, and complete secure electronic identity verification (e-KYC) directly through the app. Furthermore, the platform allows customers to select specific debt repayment plans, sign contracts, and finalize account closures without needing to visit a physical office.
For residents in Thailand, this development represents a shift toward digital financial management for those seeking to resolve outstanding liabilities. By centralizing the process, SAM intends to simplify the administrative burden of debt settlement. The application is currently available for download on both iOS and Android devices.
While the app provides a streamlined interface for these specific debt categories, it remains to be confirmed how the system handles complex cases or disputes that may require human intervention. Users should ensure they are downloading the official application from verified app stores to maintain data security during the e-KYC process.
