On August 17, 2026, authorities in Sisaket province announced the seizure of 4 million methamphetamine pills as part of the ongoing '90-Day Drug Suppression' operation. According to Khaosod Online, the operation unfolded in the early hours of the morning when police from the Sisaket Provincial Police and Border Patrol Police Unit 22 intercepted two pickup trucks suspected of transporting illicit substances.
Following a high-speed pursuit, officials successfully apprehended one suspect, identified as Mr. Aswin, and seized 20 sacks containing the narcotics, along with two pickup trucks and three mobile phones. Sisaket Governor Anurat Thammaprajit and Police Major General Supachai Sakrinpanichakul led the press conference at Kantharalak Police Station to detail the findings.
