Poh Teck Tung Foundation Launches Annual Charity Distribution in Samut Sakhon

According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the Poh Teck Tung Foundation has officially commenced its annual 'Thing Krajad' (Si Kow) tradition for 2026. The first distribution event took place at the foundation’s cemetery in Ban Phaeo District, Samut Sakhon Province, where 6,000 aid packages were provided to local residents in need.

Led by Vice Chairman Dr. Suthat Techawiboon and other foundation executives, the initiative provided recipients with essential supplies, including rice and instant noodles, along with a travel stipend of 200 baht per person. The foundation noted that the scale of this year’s distribution has been increased compared to previous years to better support the local community amidst rising living costs and to accommodate the growing number of attendees.
