Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Phra Phrom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat
A collision between a motorcycle and a pickup truck at a U-turn in Nakhon Si Thammarat has resulted in one death and two serious injuries among high school students.
On the evening of August 16, 2026, a tragic traffic accident occurred at the Mamuang Talot U-turn in Chang Sai sub-district, Phra Phrom district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. According to a report by Khaosod Online, a motorcycle carrying three 10th-grade students collided with a pickup truck that was performing a U-turn.
Emergency responders and local police from Phra Phrom station arrived at the scene around 8:30 PM. Authorities confirmed the death of a 16-year-old student, identified as Norawat, at the site. Two other students sustained serious injuries and were transported to Maharaj Nakhon Si Thammarat Hospital for urgent medical care. The damaged red Honda motorcycle was found near the deceased.
