National Sports Development Fund Inspects Asian Games Preparations in Chonburi and Rayong

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, officials from the National Sports Development Fund (NSDF) recently conducted site visits in Chonburi and Rayong provinces. The delegation, led by NSDF Executive Committee member General Dr. Suphamanas Pharaphop, aimed to assess the training status and provide encouragement to Thai athletes preparing for the 20th Asian Games in Nagoya, Japan.

The inspection focused on three specific sports: beach volleyball, rowing, and windsurfing. During the visit to Sattahip District in Chonburi, the committee observed the men’s national beach volleyball team at the R1 Life Fitness Center, where they were welcomed by team management representatives.

For residents and visitors in these coastal provinces, these activities highlight the ongoing high-level athletic training occurring in the region. While the visit serves as a morale booster and a progress check for the national squads, it also underscores the logistical preparations Thailand is undertaking for the upcoming international competition. As of now, the specific performance targets for these teams in Nagoya remain to be confirmed, as the focus of this visit was primarily on current training readiness and facility support.
