Chainat Hosts Third Round of Thailand Open Cycling Championships
Over 1,000 cyclists gathered in Chainat province for the third round of the Thailand Open, a key event for identifying future national talent.
On August 15–16, 2026, Chainat province hosted the third round of the Thailand Open cycling championships, featuring both road and mountain bike competitions. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, the event took place at the BMX Stadium of the Chainat Provincial Administrative Organization in Khao Khaya.
The competition, which serves as a platform for identifying young athletes for the national team ahead of the Youth Asian Games and Youth Olympic Games, attracted over 1,000 participants from across the country. The road cycling segment officially opened on August 16, with Jittana Yingtawilapa, President of the Chainat Provincial Administrative Organization, presiding over the ceremony alongside Captain Thitaporn Noirak, Secretary-General of the Cycling Association of Thailand.
General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, noted the significant turnout and success of the two-day event.
