Thap Lan National Park Reclamation Progresses with Partial Demolition
Authorities have reached the 50% mark in the demolition of the 'Baan Wiman Mok' resort, a structure identified as an illegal encroachment within Thap Lan National Park.
According to a report from Thai Post, Minister of Natural Resources and Environment Suchart Chomklin has confirmed significant progress in the reclamation of forest land within Thap Lan National Park. The operation focuses on the 'Baan Wiman Mok' resort located in the Wang Nam Khiao district of Nakhon Ratchasima province.
Minister Suchart stated that he received updates from Atthapol Charoenchansa, Director-General of the Department of National Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation, and Prawattisat Chanthep, Chief of Thap Lan National Park. The demolition of the resort, which was subject to a final court ruling regarding illegal encroachment, is now approximately 50% complete.
