Authorities in Uthai Thani arrested a 31-year-old man following reports of physical assault against his elderly grandmother and threats against his mother.
On August 15, 2026, law enforcement and local administrative officials in Lan Sak District, Uthai Thani, apprehended a 31-year-old man, identified as Komsan, following reports of domestic violence. According to Khaosod Online, the suspect allegedly assaulted his 81-year-old grandmother while she was on her bed and threatened to kill both her and his 53-year-old mother with a knife.
Upon arriving at the residence in Pradu Yuen sub-district, authorities found the suspect at home. A subsequent medical examination confirmed the presence of illegal substances in his system. The suspect has been charged with physical assault causing bodily or mental harm, as well as drug use. The victims have formally filed a police report at the Lan Sak Police Station.
