According to a report by Khaosod English, four foreign nationals were successfully rescued after disappearing during a technical diving exercise near Samae San, Chonburi. The Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center Region 1 received an alert at 16:35 on August 14, 2026, after the captain of their transport vessel reported them missing.
The search concluded on Friday night, August 15, when the divers were found safe after they managed to reach the shore at Nam Sai Beach on their own.
