According to Khaosod Online, she noted that the Bureau of the Budget has improved accessibility by providing data in both PDF and Excel formats, allowing for better public scrutiny.
However, Watanya expressed significant concern regarding the structure of the proposed 1.5 trillion baht expenditure for government personnel, which represents over 40% of the total budget. While she acknowledged that the government has shown initiative by cutting some provincial budgets by nearly 80% to reduce redundancy, she questioned how the remaining funds would be sufficient to drive future national development. She pointed out that while operational budgets for various ministries have been reduced, personnel costs remain high and difficult to trim.
