Chainat Governor Phumiwat Udomsap presided over the opening ceremony on August 15, emphasizing that the tournament serves as a significant catalyst for the local economy and tourism. General Decha Hemkrasri, President of the Cycling Association of Thailand, noted that the competition is designed to provide a platform for emerging athletes and rising stars to gain experience and potentially qualify for the national team.
