Student Fatally Injured in Motorcycle Collision with Trailer in Lampang

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, a 21-year-old student from Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, Lampang, has died following a traffic accident on August 14, 2026. The incident occurred in Ban Suan Sak, Ngao District, Lampang Province.

Reports indicate that the victim, identified as Rachen, was traveling by motorcycle with two friends toward Phayao Province. The collision involved a trailer truck that had pulled over to the side of the road due to a tire blowout. According to preliminary accounts, the trailer was in the process of re-entering the roadway when the motorcycle struck its rear. Emergency responders from the Ngao District Rescue Association arrived at the scene to provide medical assistance, but the student later succumbed to his injuries at Ngao Hospital. He had sustained severe trauma, including head injuries and significant leg fractures.
