Preparations Underway for the 2027 Princess Maha Chakri Award
Education officials from across Thailand gathered in Bangkok to refine the selection process for the 7th Princess Maha Chakri Award, honoring teachers who drive significant student transformation.
On August 8, 2026, representatives from provincial education offices across Thailand met at the TK Palace Hotel & Convention in Bangkok for a workshop dedicated to the 7th Princess Maha Chakri Award, scheduled for 2027. Organized by the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), the event focused on compiling and refining the 'B.4' records—detailed accounts of the achievements of teachers nominated for this prestigious honor.
Key figures, including Foundation President Krisanyapong Kiratikorn and Foundation Manager Benjalug Namfa, opened the session. Among the participants was a delegation from Kanchanaburi, where expert committee member Assistant Professor Wilaiwan Santhawakomol and provincial official Chatkul Trongkamalee worked on documenting teacher profiles. Additionally, Buppha Phongphaiboon, an expert from the Kanchanaburi selection committee, shared insights during a session titled 'Inspiring Stories,' which provided guidance on how to effectively narrate the impact of teachers who act as catalysts for change in their students' lives.
