The Thai Meteorological Department has issued a warning for heavy rain across the country and dangerous sea conditions in the Andaman region.

According to the report, a monsoon trough is currently positioned across Myanmar and the upper North, extending toward a low-pressure cell located over upper Vietnam. Simultaneously, a rather strong southwest monsoon is prevailing over the Andaman Sea, the Gulf of Thailand, and the mainland.
These conditions are expected to bring isolated heavy rains throughout the country, with the eastern region specifically facing the potential for very heavy rainfall. The TMD reports that the strong winds are generating waves in the upper Andaman Sea reaching heights of 2 to 3 meters, with wave heights exceeding 3 meters in areas experiencing thundershowers.
