A 19-year-old man was discovered dead in a rental room in Bang Nam Priao, Chachoengsao, following a reported dispute with his girlfriend.
On August 14, 2026, local authorities in Bang Nam Priao, Chachoengsao, responded to a report of a death at a rental property in Sala Daeng sub-district. According to Khaosod Online Thailand, police officers, medical personnel from Bang Nam Priao Hospital, and rescue teams arrived at the scene to find a 19-year-old man, identified as Mr. Teeradech, deceased in his room.
Initial reports indicate that the victim was found in a prone position with a rope around his neck, and evidence of a broken rope was observed near the roof structure. A friend of the deceased, Mr. Surasit, stated that he had been contacted by the victim’s girlfriend to check on him after she was unable to reach him throughout the night. The girlfriend reportedly suspected the victim may have been distressed due to a disagreement regarding her refusal to allow him to accompany her on a motorcycle trip to go fishing, leading to concerns about potential jealousy.
