According to reports from Khaosod Online Thailand, three youths—two 18-year-olds and one 8-year-old—had paddled a boat from Ban Ko En in Phuket’s Thalang district to the area to engage in spearfishing.
During the excursion, one of the 18-year-olds went missing in the water. Local residents were able to assist another member of the group who was struggling and at risk of drowning, while the third individual was also accounted for. Emergency responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to conduct a search for the missing teenager.
