Thai Election Commission Enhances Intelligence Gathering to Curb Electoral Fraud

On August 14, 2026, the Election Commission of Thailand (ECT) announced a new initiative to strengthen its intelligence capabilities to prevent electoral fraud. The program will be implemented immediately, starting with the upcoming MP by-election in Udon Thani and the Provincial Administrative Organization (PAO) presidential elections in Kalasin, Nonthaburi, and Khon Kaen.
