This extreme weather has led to at least four confirmed deaths and caused significant infrastructure failures. Approximately 7,000 people were stranded overnight at Narita International Airport as public transportation links, including trains, buses, and taxis, were suspended. While airport officials indicated that flights are expected to resume normal operations on Friday, Japan Airlines has warned that some delays may still occur. Additionally, power outages have affected 23,000 households in the region.
