Police Arrest Additional Suspects Following Shooting at Dan Khun Thot Event
Authorities have apprehended three more individuals in connection with a shooting at a local festival in Nakhon Ratchasima, while the primary suspect remains hospitalized.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand on August 14, 2026, police in Dan Khun Thot, Nakhon Ratchasima, have arrested three additional suspects linked to a shooting incident at the 'Chim Shop Chai' festival. The event, held in front of the Pho Khun Thot monument, resulted in six injuries.
Previously, authorities had detained a 32-year-old man identified as Mr. Natthakit. Following his arrest, the suspect reportedly suffered from severe headaches while in custody, leading to his urgent transfer to a hospital where medical staff discovered a brain hemorrhage.
Police have now expanded their investigation, leading to the arrest of three more men—identified as Mr. Wasan, Mr. Koradech, and Mr. Wit—who have been charged with attempted murder.
