BAFS Reports Q2 2026 Growth Amid Aviation Sector Challenges
Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services (BAFS) announced an 8% profit increase for Q2 2026, signaling resilience in Thailand's aviation infrastructure despite rising fuel costs.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Bangkok Aviation Fuel Services (BAFS) has posted a net profit of 60.5 million baht for the second quarter of 2026, representing an 8% increase compared to the same period last year. The company reported total revenue of 839.5 million baht for the quarter, bringing its total net profit for the first half of the year to 212.3 million baht, a 7% year-on-year rise.
BAFS President M.L. Nathasit Diskul attributed these results to effective cost management, even as the company navigated volatility in global energy prices linked to the Middle East situation. During the second quarter, the aviation industry faced pressure from rising Jet A-1 fuel prices, leading airlines to exercise caution in their service capacity.
