According to a report by Matichon Online, a joint operation involving the Metropolitan Police Bureau’s investigative division and the Bang Rak Police Station has led to the arrest of four suspects linked to a call center fraud syndicate. The group is accused of impersonating officers from the Ranong Police Station to deceive victims, specifically targeting students.

Authorities allege that the suspects utilized intimidation tactics, claiming the victims were involved in criminal activities to coerce them into transferring funds. The total financial loss reported in this case exceeds 12 million baht.
