Following the incident, the suspect fled the scene, reportedly driving against traffic to evade authorities. Upon his arrest, police recovered a grey-black Honda Wave motorcycle without a license plate. Reports indicate that the suspect, who is identified as a psychiatric patient, claimed he turned off street lights and rode his motorcycle without lights as a personal effort to combat global warming.
