Police Hunt Suspect Following Fatal Shooting in Ayutthaya
Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a 45-year-old man following the death of a colleague in a targeted shooting in Bang Pa-in district.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, police are actively searching for a suspect identified as 45-year-old Jandi, also known as 'Suea,' following a fatal shooting in Ayutthaya province. The incident occurred on the Rojana Road, directly in front of a used car dealership in Sam Ruean sub-district, Bang Pa-in.
The victim, 33-year-old Ballang, was shot in the forehead by an assailant. He was initially transported to Rajthanee Hospital in critical condition but has since succumbed to his injuries. His body has been transferred to the Central Institute of Forensic Science in Pathum Thani for a formal autopsy to assist in the ongoing investigation.
Investigators from the Bang Pa-in Police Station have successfully secured an arrest warrant from the Ayutthaya Provincial Court. Additionally, police have questioned a 67-year-old man identified as Lung Ma as part of their inquiries. Reports indicate that authorities are currently tracking leads suggesting the suspect may be hiding in a rural field area.
For residents and travelers in the area, this incident involves a targeted personal dispute rather than a random act of violence.
