Four Arrested in Phuket Following Confrontation with Local Youths
Phuket police have apprehended four individuals following an incident involving the harassment and intimidation of three Thai teenagers.
According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, Phuket police arrested four individuals on August 13, 2026, in connection with an incident that occurred late the previous night. The event involved a group of six people on three motorcycles who pursued three Thai teenagers, aged 14 to 15, who were riding a single bicycle.
During the confrontation, the perpetrators reportedly used a BB gun to threaten the youths, forcing them to flee for their safety. The group also damaged the teenagers' personal property, including a mobile phone and a power bank, resulting in an estimated loss of 18,000 baht. Furthermore, the suspects allegedly threw the victims' bicycle keys into a drainage pipe before fleeing the scene. The victims subsequently filed a formal complaint with the Phuket City Police Station, leading to the swift identification and arrest of four of the suspects by local authorities.
