Police Arrest Man Following Violent Confrontation at Nonthaburi Restaurant
A 22-year-old man was taken into custody in Pak Kret after allegedly damaging his mother's restaurant and issuing death threats.
On August 13, 2026, police in Pak Kret, Nonthaburi, arrested a 22-year-old man identified as Chakrit following a disturbance at a buffet restaurant located near Muang Thong Thani. According to Khaosod Online, the suspect’s mother, Ms. Pornnapa, reported that her son arrived at her business, threw a rock that shattered the storefront glass, and threatened her life.
Ms. Pornnapa stated that the confrontation stemmed from her son’s anger regarding her personal life and a new partner. She reported that he had previously threatened her via telephone before arriving at the scene to carry out the verbal threats. Upon arrival, police successfully de-escalated the situation and took the suspect into custody. While the suspect had previously claimed to possess a firearm, officers did not find a weapon on his person during the arrest.
