Thailand Announces Electricity Rate Reduction for Final Period of 2026

According to a report by Matichon Online on August 13, 2026, the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) of Thailand has finalized the electricity tariff for the final four months of the year. Starting in September and continuing through December 2026, the rate will be set at 3.86 baht per unit.

This adjustment follows a revision of the base electricity tariff, which has seen a reduction of 9 satang.
