JMART Reports 92% Q2 Profit Surge Amid Mobile Lending Growth

JMART has announced a significant 92% increase in second-quarter net profit for 2026, driven by strong mobile lending performance and ecosystem contributions.

According to a report by Khaosod Online Thailand, JMART has posted a robust financial performance for the second quarter of 2026. The company recorded a net profit attributable to shareholders of 213 million baht, marking a 92% increase compared to the previous period. This brings the total net profit for the first half of the year to 375.7 million baht, reflecting a growth of nearly 50%.

The company attributes this success to its mobile business and increased profit shares from its ecosystem partners. Notably, the 'Mobile Lending' sector has shown significant expansion, with the combined 'Lock Phone' credit portfolio from KB J and SG Finance+ exceeding 21 billion baht. Additionally, the 'Suki Teenoi' restaurant chain continues to expand its multi-brand platform, contributing 100.5 million baht in profit share to JMART during the first half of the year.

For residents and expatriates in Thailand, this growth highlights the increasing prevalence of mobile-based financing and the continued expansion of popular retail and dining ecosystems. While these figures indicate strong corporate health, the long-term sustainability of the mobile lending portfolio and the specific impact of future market fluctuations on these ecosystem partners remain to be confirmed.
