Court Delivers Verdict in Forex-3D Fraud Case
A Thai court has sentenced Forex-3D executive Apirak Kothi to 49,110 years in prison, while acquitting actress Savika 'Pinky' Chaiyadej and her family members.
On August 13, 2026, the Criminal Court on Ratchadaphisek Road in Bangkok delivered its verdict in the high-profile Forex-3D fraud case (Black Case No. 853/2564). According to Khaosod Online, the court sentenced Apirak Kothi, the primary executive of the scheme, and his associates to a combined total of 49,110 years in prison. Additionally, the court ordered them to pay 4.911 billion baht in restitution to the victims of the investment fraud.
In a significant development for the public, the court acquitted well-known actress Savika 'Pinky' Chaiyadej, her mother Sarinya Chaiyadej, and her brother Kittichet (also known as Sarayuth) Chaiyadej, dismissing the charges brought against them by the Department of Special Investigation prosecutors. The case involved 24 defendants in total.
