TAT Launches 'Koh Kerd' Cultural Route Celebrating Thai Craftsmanship

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has officially launched the 'Koh Kerd: The Living Legacy of Thai Craftsmanship' cultural route. According to the TAT Newsroom, this initiative creates a bridge between the Grand Palace area in Bangkok and the Khon Learning Centre and Arts of the Kingdom Museum in Ayutthaya.

This complimentary journey is designed to celebrate the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, specifically focusing on the preservation of Khon performances, traditional craftsmanship, and the transmission of artisan knowledge across generations. For travelers and residents, this route offers a structured way to engage with Thailand’s cultural heritage through direct access to these significant historical and artistic sites.

The program is currently scheduled to operate from Wednesday to Sunday each week. Interested participants should note that the route is available for a limited time, with operations concluding on 26 December 2026.
